The PNG Special Economic Zones Foundation Policy identifies more than twenty-six categories of Special Economic Zone. SEIFH integrates thirteen of them into a single coordinated development platform. This multi-category integration is what distinguishes SEIFH from a conventional single-purpose industrial estate, and is central to its designation as a national demonstration project under the Foundation Policy.
