The Soraken Integrated Economic Fusion Hub is located at Soraken Plantation, on the west coast of North Bougainville, within the Autonomous Region of Bougainville, Papua New Guinea.
A Gateway Site, Positioned for the Pacific and Asia
The site sits at the junction of Buka, Selau/Suir, Tinputz and Kunua, giving it direct access to the shipping lanes of the South Pacific Ocean and the Solomon Sea, and placing it within reach of the wider corridor network extending south to Wakunai, Loloho, Arawa, Bana, Buin and Tonolei.
The site benefits from existing road access, proximity to the national telecommunications network, and an existing jetty and nearby airport facilities. These assets provide a strong foundation for development; the project's infrastructure programme sets out the enhancement and staged upgrading required to bring this foundational infrastructure to full modern SEZ operating standard.
